Description
The specimen is a testis and cord. At the upper pole of the testis, as identified by the position of
the cord, the testis is expanded by a cystic structure, which appears circumscribed; at the lower
pole, there is normal testicular tissue. The tumour, which is a teratoma, shows multiple cysts with
some small areas of calcification.
